Aeromedical coordination services

Air ambulance coordination
For patients who need a dedicated flight and continuous medical support. We coordinate the entire transfer alongside allied air operators.
- Medical flights on domestic and international routes.
- Ground ambulances at origin and destination for bed-to-bed management.
- Clinical information shared between the sending center, the operator's crew and the receiving clinic.
- Scheduling based on operator availability and the urgency of the case.

Medical escort on commercial flights
Professional accompaniment provided by our own team for clinically stable patients who can travel on a commercial airline, with supervision throughout the journey.
- Handling of the airline medical form (MEDIF) and its approval.
- Monitoring of vital signs, prescribed medication and authorized portable oxygen.
- Assistance at the airport, boarding, layovers and disembarkation.
- Ground transfer and handover of the patient to family or the medical center.
How to choose
Air ambulance or medical escort
The choice depends on the patient’s medical assessment, the support needed during the flight and the feasibility of the route.

Common questions
Frequently asked questions
Who operates the flight in an air ambulance transfer?
Sintegra Assist+ coordinates the transfer; the air service is operated by allied companies.
We handle the management and logistics of the transfer; the flight, crew and medical equipment are the responsibility of the allied operator.
What does bed-to-bed coordination include?
Planning and liaison from where the patient is (clinic, hospital or home) to the receiving medical center or destination: ground ambulances at origin and destination, the air leg and communication with the sending and receiving medical teams.
How is the choice made between an air ambulance and a medical escort?
Case by case, based on an updated medical report, the patient’s stability, the urgency and the available routes. If the patient is stable and the airline approves the MEDIF form, a medical escort is often feasible. If continuous care on a dedicated aircraft is needed, we coordinate an air ambulance.
What documents are needed?
For an initial quote, the form details are enough: origin, destination and type of service. To assess and schedule the transfer, we will ask you by email for the patient’s updated clinical report and the phone number of the treating or on-duty physician, valid ID documents for the patient and companion, and acceptance from the medical center the patient will be referred to.
Can you coordinate with the patient's insurance?
If the patient has an insurance policy or travel assistance, we provide a formal quote and technical information about the transfer so the family or the company can request authorization.
Do you handle international transfers?
Yes. We coordinate transfers within Peru and to or from abroad, by air ambulance or with a medical escort on commercial flights.
